A catch-all feature that is activated for a given e-mailbox will permit you to receive email messages that are sent to addresses that do not really exist. Otherwise stated, if you delete an email address and someone still sends a message to it, or to any mistyped email address under the exact same domain, you’ll get the email in the catch-all mailbox. Using this functionality means that you will no longer miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be vital if you run some business, for example. Since you may begin receiving spam messages, you can use the catch-all option with anti-spam filtering software so as to get only authentic messages in your inbox. Just one mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for a catch-all mailbox.
Catch-all Emails in Cloud Hosting
If you host a domain name on our cloud platform and you’ve got a cloud hosting account, you will be able to enable the catch-all feature for any email mailbox that you create under the domain name. The Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section offers quite a lot of functions, but it’s stunningly user-friendly, so configuring a catch-all mailbox requires just one single click. All the email addresses that you have created will be displayed in this section in alphabetical order and you’ll just need to click on the "Catch-all" button pertaining to the particular address. Our system will warn you if there is already another catch-all mailbox activated for that domain name or if the one that you would like to be a catch-all mailbox has email forwarding activated, so you can either disable the latter feature or pick another mailbox. Deactivating the catch-all feature is just as easy and requires one more click on the same button.
Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting
The catch-all option can be activated effortlessly in case you’ve got a semi-dedicated server account with us. All the email addresses that you have created with the domain names hosted in your semi-dedicated account will be shown in the Hepsia hosting Control Panel’s Email Manager section and you will notice a small symbol conveniently situated right next to each one. With only one single mouse click, you can activate or deactivate the catch-all option for any mailbox of your choice provided that there isn't another mailbox under the same domain name with the option already enabled and there isn't activated email forwarding. Alternatively, you can right-click on a mailbox and activate this option using the contextual menu that will appear. In case any of the conditions for setting up a catch-all mailbox is not answered, our system will let you know, but will not replace or disable anything automatically.
